First Launch of EyeDown: Setting Up for Maximum Privacy and Security
Launching EyeDown
- Locate the EyeDown Icon: After installing EyeDown, find the EyeDown icon on your desktop or in your start menu.
- Run as Administrator: Right-click on the EyeDown icon and select “Run as Administrator” to ensure the software has the necessary permissions to make system-wide changes.
- Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup process.
Creating a System Restore Point
- Navigate to Home Tab: Once EyeDown is launched, go to the “Home” tab.
- Generate System Restore Point: Click on the “Generate a new system restore point” button. This will create a restore point, allowing you to revert your system back to this state if needed.
Information Displayed on the Home Page
- License Key: Your EyeDown license key will be displayed. Ensure that it matches the key you received upon purchase.
- Remaining Time: The Home tab shows the remaining days of your license. This helps you keep track of your subscription and renew it in time.
- Username: Your EyeDown username will be displayed, confirming that you are logged in with the correct account.
